Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don’t get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing “trigger points” in your body. Trigger points are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and or emotional stress. They are tender areas of tension that occur in the belly of the muscle tissue. They may also be the cause of refered pain. The referred pain is usually steady, dull and aching , often deep. It my occure either at rest or on movement, however usually in a predictable pattern.

This type of massage can be quite painful at times and requires the client and therapist to communicate about the intensity of pain or discomfort. I will work with you to maximise the effectiveness of this treatment. The effects of a treatment such as this are lasting and profoundly helpfull in releasing those area that you "can't quite put your finger on".
An ear candle is a long hollow tube tapered to fit comfortable into the outer ear canal. The large end of the candle is lit and the smoke spirals down through the ear canal warming and softening ear wax. Also adds in evaporating excess moisture. Ear Candles are believed to help relieve earache pain and help relieve presssure in the sinuses.
Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile liquid plant materials, known as essential oils, and other aromatic compounds from plants for the purpose of affecting a person's mood or health. You can choose which oil you would like to add to your session.
A type of treatment that helps soften long standing muscle tightness, adhesions and loosen tight muscles where other massage techniques have not been enough. This can help with treatment of chronic injuries, which have responded to treatment, but keep coming back. Cupping brings blood back into an area which has become stagnant, this is done by creating a suction using glass cups. Keep in mind that bruising may occur.
